Introducing the true hybrid 1080p HD camera of the 21st Century. The AF100 is a brilliant blend of both the features that popularized the DSLR movement and the professional durability of the digital cinema camera.

The AF100 has become the answer to many of the shortcomings DSLR cameras posed: it has audio XLR inputs, a viewfinder, is not prone to overheating, has timecode generation for syncing sound and in-camera metering for accurate exposure. With a simpler workflow than it's DSLR competitors, footage no longer needs to be transcoded: just shoot, edit, and post.

Lighter than the RED ONE, and adaptable to RED Pro Primes, and all PL mount lenses, the AF100 has the potential for true cinema caliber imagery. The AF100 also operates off of the user-friendly HVX interface, but now records to non-proprietary SD Cards! The camera also has a built-in HD output for crystal-clear director/client viewing.

Exceeding the versatility needs of a digital cinema shoot and meeting the compact demands of a documentary crew, the AF100 is upgraded to be best of all worlds.
